Sinoutskerke and Baarsdorp
Sinoutskerke and Baarsdorp are located in the heart of the Poel Area in South Beveland. From these village you can enjoy a beautiful old landscape with all kinds of historical elements.
The vast nature has a lot to offer: beautiful views, such as a hedge landscape, enchanting dikes and a forest. The atmospheric villages and hamlets are also worth a visit.
The foundation
The Foundation for the Preservation of the Seigniory of Sinoutskerke and Baarsdorp was established in 2021.The foundation manages the still existing manorial rights.
It's aim is to preserve unique Dutch cultural heritage for future generations and to make the available knowledge about the Lordship publicly available.

The lord or lady has the right to graze cattle (sheep) along all roads within the lordship.
Church rights
The right to own a pew in church.
Planting rights
The right to plant on other people's land.
Sheep drifting
The right to drift sheep on other people's land.
